The Workshop

The Workshop

Our High Speed Photography Workshop offers participants the opportunity to learn about the history and theory of high speed photography and then follow up with a practical session to get them taking their first high speed photos.

We're currently offering the workshop free of charge to universities with active photography clubs or courses. The only requirement is that we need a studio space which has blackout facilities.

The workshop lasts around 2 hours 30 minutes, allowing 1 hour for both the practical and theory session and then a further 30 minutes for a short break and set up / tear down.

Participants should have a basic understanding of using a DSLR camera in the manual mode.

We asked Triggertrap to give a demo of what their nifty devices could do. Half expecting a show and tell kind of event, I was very pleased and had childlike excitement when they said they would come to us in Brighton and run a real-time demo, bursting water-balloons using the Triggertrap device.
The evening was fantastic and the device performed amazingly, so much so, I bought one for my Canon and another for my Fuji – So I will never be without it. I highly recommend Triggertrap and their friendly team.
