Long Exposure Competition

Here at Triggertrap we love photography (as if you hadn't guessed), and that means we loooove summer. Long summer evenings mean more hours of glorious light to capture jaw-dropping images. Not to mention those warmer nights make nighttime photography a little more fun too!  In the lead up to the summer solstice, what better way to celebrate those extra hours than to with some long exposure shots, and to give you guys the chance to win some fun stuff while you're at it.

We will be running a long exposure competition for the next 10 days, starting on 11th June 2015, and finishing on 21st June 2015. At the end of the 10 days, we'll be choosing three lucky winners who will each receive one of our Soon-To-Be-Legendary Triggertrap Goodie Bags!

How can I get involved?

To get involved, there are two simple steps:

Firstly, all you have to do is go out and create some awesome long exposures with your Triggertrap gear! Whether that be silky smooth water, dazzling star trails, or creative light painting – we can't wait to see what you guys come up with. If you're feeling particularly fancy, you could even throw some long exposure timelapse in there. If you've got some long exposures you've taken with Triggertrap before and not shared with us, you can use those too!

Then all you've got to do is share your fantastic long exposures with us on one of our social pages with the hashtag #TTlongexposure. It's as easy as that! You can upload entries to our Flickr PoolFacebook pageTweet it to us, or share your images on Instagram - just don't forget to tag us @Triggertrap and #TTlongexposure or there's a chance we might miss it.

It's all about the composition with star trails, and Joseph Gruber's shot doesn't disappoint!

The Small Print: You need to own the copyright to the images you submit. You keep the copyright but we (y'know, Triggertrap) will want to be able to display it in conjunction with the competition. There will be three winners in total. Photos have to be submitted before the closing date of 23:59 (BST) on 21st June 2015. Only one prize per entrant. Multiple image submissions allowed per entrant. The prize is not refundable, nor exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
