To celebrate the summer solstice here in the northern hemisphere, and the gloriously long summer evenings that it brings with it, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for some long exposure photography. We held a long exposure competition where we asked you, our wonderful users, to submit any of the awesome long exposures you had taken with Triggertrap kit along with the hashtag #TTlongexposure via any of our social channels. The submissions we had were breathtaking; what you guys create using Triggertrap gear never ceases to amaze us.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone that entered! And without further ado, here are the three winning entries...

Thomas Mørkeberg

Long exposure of the Budapest Parliament building taken by Thomas D Mørkeberg using Triggertrap Mobile.

This awe-inspiring long exposure of the Budapest Parliament building was taken by Thomas Mørkeberg. You just can't fault that smoothing in the clouds and water. If you want to find out how to capture some cool water smoothing photos yourself, we have just the tutorial

Want to see more from Thomas? Go ahead and check out his website: You can also see more from him over on Facebook, Instagram, 500px, and Flickr

Simon Ball

Wire wool spinning shot taken by Simon Ball using Triggertrap Mobile.

Adding a person into the foreground of this wire wool photo by Simon Ball adds a fantastic theatrical element to the shot. You may think that wire wool spinning is tricky, but fear not! We can help you out with this technique with our tutorial

Sam Hood
