Triggertrap Mobile gets an iOS 8 update!

Announcing a little treat to start next week: Triggertrap Mobile 3.0! We’d love to tell you about all the great new features - big and small - but it’d take all day. So here are our three favourite things and three cheeky bonuses about version three (a lot of threes there. It's the magic number, after all.)

1. Motion mode

In previous versions of Triggertrap Mobile, Motion mode was based on object tracking, which we thought was pretty cool. However, we're always keen to improve, so we did some research and stumbled across what we think is an even better way of doing it: making Motion mode behave like Sound Mode. This makes Motion mode faster, more reliable, and easier to use than ever before. Motion mode also now has a sensitivity slider that allows you to choose how much movement has to be happening before the camera is triggered.

2. Settings

After working our coders' fingers to the bone on triggering modes, we turned our laser-like focus onto Settings. Now, you can get super precise with your Sensor Delay so you can capture the moment every time. Changing to a keyboard allows for delays that weren’t possible before. We know how frustrating it was when one delay was too soon, and one too late! All solved with this tidy little update.

3. iPad support

Finally, we hear you cry, iPad support! This was a long time coming, but now it’s here and we think it looks great. The UI has been tweaked to look wonderful on all iPhones - from the humble iPhone 4 to the gigantic iPhone 6 Plus, as well as on the iPad! This release is the first to properly support iPad, and we’re looking to make even more tweaks to the UI on iPad to make it sparkle just that little bit more brighterer (totally a word).

Excited? Thought you might be. Triggertrap Mobile 3.0 launches on Monday 13th October 2014. When you've checked it out, be sure to let us know what you think. We love hearing how users interact with our app, and welcome any improvements we can look to make! So if you have any feedback, don't hesitate to mention it in our forum or email us at hello@triggertrap.com.
