Snap a screaming selfie using Triggertrap

Triggertrap is bursting with excitement to announce our third and most fun app yet... Introducing Triggertrap Selfie! We're so thrilled we could shout it from the rooftops, and why not? Perfect opportunity for a selfie.

What's all the noise about?

That's just it actually. Triggertrap Selfie lets you take selfies, but with a difference... You have to make enough of a racket to trigger the shutter release and take the picture. Does that sound a bit odd? Trust us, when you see the hilarious results you'll be hooked. As well as having fun with your friends (or just by yourself), the app also has practical uses. You can use it to distract small children, or let off some steam at the end of a hard day. It's terribly therapeutic.

The app is easy as pie to use. All you have to do is open it up and let out a good shout! Once the phone detects a loud enough sound the pixelated screen will clear and a side-splitting selfie will be saved to your camera roll. You can even tweet the image directly, and choose between Twitter accounts if you have more than one. You social fiend.

Did we mention that Triggertrap Selfie has smart face detection built in? Pretty neat, huh? The camera will only be able to snap a selfie once it detects a face in the frame. Sorry guys, there's no getting out of this one!

How can I get my mitts on Triggertrap Selfie?

Triggertrap Selfie is available on iOS devices running iOS 8 or later, including iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touch devices. It's completely free and available to download from the app store now! What are you waiting for? Get it now.

What next?

When you’ve had good yell at your phone, be sure to let us know what you think. We love hearing how our users interact with our apps, and welcome any improvements we can look to make! So if you have any feedback, don’t hesitate to mention it in our forum or email us at hello@triggertrap.com.

Don't forget to share your "yellfies" with us! It doesn't have to just be on Twitter, we have a whole host of social channels for you to share them on. So go on, get snapping.
