I'm Brendon Wainwright and I'm a photographer and adrenaline junkie, based in South Africa which means that Table Mountain National Park is my playground! My favourite subjects to shoot are landscape and wildlife, as well as documenting the adventures I go on. My mother with her film and video camera drew me into photography, and the rest is history!
I think that making a good photograph comes down to composition and originality, as everybody nowadays can photograph something using a fancy mobile phone or DSLR camera, so it really boils down to getting 'that' angle on things.
I shoot with a Nikon D7000 with a Nikon 10.5mm fisheye, 18-105mm and 60mm macro. Along side this I use a Manfrotto Tripod, a range of Hoya filters and of course a Triggertrap mobile kit. I like to keep myself busy by researching and learning new photographic techniques.
I draw inspiration from gallery exhibitions and museums as well as following the work of other inspirational photographers. National Geographic's "Your Shot" website is a huge inspiration for me. This inspiration drives me to go out, see more and shoot more, as well as becoming a better photographer.
How & Why I Use Triggertrap
My current camera is limited to a certain frames per time-lapse whereby with Triggertrap there’s no restriction. Time warp is a really cool function which allowed me to capture something I never thought was even possible! The possibilities with Triggertrap Mobile are endless. My main focus is timelapse photography and Triggertrap Mobile couldn't have made it any easier for me.
